San Diego

The object of our trip:
To attend the very beautiful San Diego Temple and witness the union of two very wonderful people.

We had the opportunity to see our friends get married and be sealed for all time and eternity.

Tom was the best man.

One of our favorite things to do on vacation is explore. I've really been on a gardening kick, so we looked at landscapes and flowers. This is my first attempt at plant life  photography. (I've got a ways to go...)

We hiked  a few miles to a cool surf spot and hung out for a while.

And then of course we ate and ate some more. This is our favorite breakfast place in Long Beach.

I do have a soft spot for Southern California. Being there just makes me happy. I think it's just something in the air.

Oh, and if you are wondering how you can attend an LDS Temple and be sealed to your sweetheart for all time and eternity,  go here and learn more about it. You'll be so glad you did.

LOVE these pics. Ok, what is the breakfast place in LB? It looks like a place I used to go to all the time with my "Long Beach Boys" (yes, we were the Irvine Girls and they were the Long Beach Boys. We had boys all over Southern California ready and willing to play.) I can't think of the name of the place now and it's killing me!
