San Diego

The object of our trip:
To attend the very beautiful San Diego Temple and witness the union of two very wonderful people.

We had the opportunity to see our friends get married and be sealed for all time and eternity. 

Tom was the best man. 

 

One of our favorite things to do on vacation is explore. I've really been on a gardening kick, so we looked at landscapes and flowers. This is my first attempt at plant life  photography. (I've got a ways to go...)

 We hiked  a few miles to a cool surf spot and hung out for a while.

And then of course we ate and ate some more. This is our favorite breakfast place in Long Beach.

I do have a soft spot for Southern California. Being there just makes me happy. I think it's just something in the air.

My Kindergarten Graduate

 I will admit I cried through most of his little graduation. 

It was the slide show and the music that went with it. ("Let Them Be Little")

And the realization that my little boy is growing up.

I am back from our short trip. It was absolutely lovely. I will post pictures just as soon as I get caught up with my life. For now... These berries look really yummy. I think I will enjoy some.

Next Thing On My List

I have been dreaming of making my own Popsicles  this summer. The makers of the ZOKU totally read my mind. For only fifty dollars, you can have one of these too! 

I wonder why they don't have any spinach and sprout blend images?

We have added a small leg to our trip. After San Diego, we will head to Atlanta to visit the coolest uncle in the whole world. The one and only Top Gun Pilot,  Uncle Tom.
