I don't care for this room. It would be fine... not great, but fine if it weren't for the desperate wall art. I can see what they were going for here. Unpredictable, boisterous, zestful and perhaps even hip. When I look at this room, I see atypical boilerplate unexceptional. Apart from the first mistake, the wall art, the matching lamps and sofa are trying to hard.
I love the rug, and in the correct setting, I would love the lamps and pillows, too. I also adore the table. But together I see one big expected mess of a room.
